At THE WHISTLE, we provide a multi-channel platform designed to make reporting misconduct accessible and secure for everyone. Our platform offers a range of reporting options, each tailored to balance ease of use and data protection. For those seeking convenience, channels like online forms, emails or “call me back” offer quick access but may be less secure. To enhance protection for the less secure options, our team removes any personal data from these submissions. Our THE WHISTLE platform is our most secure option, where whistleblowers can feel most secure. Whether whistleblowers prioritise ease or maximum confidentiality, we ensure they have a safe, trustworthy platform they feel comfortable using to report concerns. All complaints received are treated with the same level of privacy and professionalism.



Email

If the whistleblower prefers to send us and email with the complaint and necessary information, they can do so from their private email address. Each company will receive a dedicated email address, for example company@thewhistle.co.za



CALL ME BACK

The whistleblower has the option to request a call-me-back on the website or by sending us an SMS, WhatsApp of Please call me. Here the whistleblower can choose a confinement time and date for them to talk to one of our forensic investigators.



Online submission

The whistleblower can send us an email from an unknown address with information attached. If the whistle blower chooses to do so, they have the option to give us their contact details to discuss the case.



The software allows the whistleblower to talk to one of our agents securely and send files securely throughout the process. The whistleblower receives a unique passphrase (code) to write down to ensure complete anonymity with traces in their browser cache.



Same online platform, but the whistleblower can make use of the TOR Browser for complete anonymity. The TOR Bowser is free and open-source software for enabling anonymous communication by directing Internet traffic.
